SPRING FORTH NOW - DAILY MEDITATION

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant

to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel:

I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles,

that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isaiah 49:6

The confidence we possess is critical to our achieving and spreading that which should be as God has ordained for our lives and spaces. Confidence is not borne from external forces, external forces only nurtures our confidence, it is the internal power of self-value in which confidence is borne and breathes. Last night as we watched the debacle of the first presidential debate for the 2020 election, it was absolutely embarrassing to what is supposed to be the confidence we have in democracy, an ideal in which there is a free exchange of ideas to arrive at that which will be best fitted with an eye toward the majority but also sensitive to the minority. The “American experiment” of democracy rests on “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all [people] are created equal that they are endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among them are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is about a confidence in our ability to arrive at the best decisions that are integrated with the Ideas of all toward just and equity for all. Without question what was witnessed, the light of the experience last night, showed a lack of confidence in the “American experiment” of democracy by one who purports to be the leader of this democracy and the free world. The actions and character of those who lead are extremely important to the illumination of light to a dark world in which people, places, and things struggle for the light of justice and equality. The embarrassment of the debate revealed a deep-seated darkness from within that seeks to prevail, giving no room for people and ideas to be, despite and in spite of whether one agrees or not. Whenever you find yourself in spaces in which there cannot be the free exchange of ideas, thoughts, concerns, etc, you find yourself in spaces in which dictating of how to think, act, and believe, is more important and a direct result of a lack of confidence in what you say believe and attempt to dictate. The very belief in God and His plan for life and HIs creation is something we must have internal confidence, we must be convinced within our selves that it is the light of the world and as a result resist diminishing the free exchange of ideas, concerns, etc., making room for all things, freely allowing the light to emerge scattering darkness, not by force, dictating, and/or hindering the free exchange, instead by being. Fill Our House, being and space, is the continuous receiving of the light of the Creator in our lives that fills our being and space and as a result builds confidence within not to dictate but be and in turn allow for others to be, with all discovering the light and thus, scattering darkness. The Spirit of God breathed into each and every one of us, ignites God’s intent for our lives, giving confidence of what should be, releasing the light, not by power nor by might but by my Spirit saith the Lord, freely flowing out of you scattering the darkness. Catch The Wind of God and be, confident and assured, giving being and space for all of God’s creation, allowing for God’s Spirit unfolding through you, in your being and space, scattering darkness.
