And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.
I Samuel 1:14-19
Your determination is critical to the Re-covering Process that brings about your harvest. How determined you are to glean in your field, to work the space and assignment that God ordained for your life, will be determinative of your outcome, your harvest. Do not get distracted by all of the chaos of your life, internally or externally, neither be consumed with even the “good” stuff that you are not called to, for it all has been given to muddle your determination for recovering that which God has ordained for your life. Hannah did not care how she was perceived or what was expected as normal behavior; she wanted a child, and so she travailed, focused her life, and engaged in her Re-covering Process and, in so doing, discovered Hidden Manna. Hanna's determination got the attention of Eli, the High Priest, who interceded on her behalf, and God granted her request. It is not how difficult your requests or promises are, God can and will do the impossible, the challenge is how badly you want it, and if so, then how determined you are that will trigger your recovery and evoke God’s intervention, and with God, you will recover it all.
