And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Romans 13:11-13

God has not created us to walk and dwell in darkness, He has Chosen our lives to be light; instruments of His illumination in our space and in the world. Because God has given us freewill, He eagerly implores us to choose His purpose and plan for our lives, and as we come to ourselves, awaken out of our sleep; overcome the influences of darkness and negativity, we turn the light on of God and His Word for our lives. Remember, wherever you are, whatever is going on, despite and in spite of the impossibilities of you and your circumstances, you have been Chosen to be light, scattering darkness no matter how thick it may be. Go ahead and get in the way of your circumstances and of you and let the light of God shine through and in you, it is your Most Favored Status!
