SPRING FORTH NOW 2024

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, . . . . Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. . . .And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests? But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

Acts 9:1, 13-16, 20-22

The cost of our power does come from our struggling with external sources; people, places, and things but it also comes from internal struggles, demons within.  Often when we review the story of Saul’s conversion to the Apostle Paul we quickly identify all his challenges of being accepted and trusted by people because of his actions toward them and the emerging church, dragging them away and locking them up, rightfully so.  However, much less emphasis has been given to the Saul inside who on the Damascus road struggling to free Himself from what He had and thought was a good life, with respect and power in the world to turn it over to what he had so long believed was a heretic and anti-Jehovah philosophy.  The greatest cost we will ever pay is internal and if you are willing to give up yourself; your will, your thoughts, your logic, and your very life and offer it as a living sacrifice, God is big enough to Open Up the Way to what is His abundance awaiting you.  Your abundance cannot be compared to your external and especially your internal struggles, it is because of that cost, that you walk into the untold and unbelievable abundance of God and His blessings on your life.  Anything Worth Having Comes With A Cost but it is only until you have experienced the process of the cost that you become more confident in paying whatever is necessary to Open Up the Way to the amazing, wonderful abundance God has prepared and is awaiting you.
