Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Acts 2:41-47

We live in a world in which false information and conspiracy theories rule; a state in which there is a lack of confirmed substantive and legitimate information, and as a result people traffic in the illegitimate and it will always poison their entire well.  Therefore, we must be deeply committed to truth and the trust of substantive and legitimate information that positions for liberating experiences without the danger of illegitimacy, darkness rising to snatch from us the victory that is ours.  Community, in particular, not individuals cannot operate on illegitimacy, on information and theories that are not based and rooted in substantive facts and legitimate processes, otherwise, it will eventually prevent us from seizing opportunities for victory.  Pentecost happened because of the truth of the message of The Good Shepherd, positioning the sheep to seize their victory in the death and resurrection of Christ, not for individual gain but for the sake of the community, the witness which was and is their victory.  Today, our challenge, in every one of our experiences, is to spring forth deeply committed to substantive truth, and legitimacy, which undergirds our faith to Open Up The Way in advancing one another and taking bold action to ensure community, everyone, thrives, live life and life more abundantly, it is our witness, our victory.
