Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:6
How do people, communities, and groups see and hear the same thing but come to very different conclusions, some seeing hell and others seeing heaven? I would suggest that how one sees and hears is directly connected to one’s expectations: how we see one another and God’s Word being made flesh, real in our lives and spaces. If you fear the future and the possibility of a new heaven and a new earth, you desire and cling to what was, which by the laws of nature can never be again, miscategorizing and rejecting what is to stop what shall become from becoming. If you embrace the new as expanded opportunities and possibilities for you and everything around you and your space to grow and advance, as things must, returning to Egypt to what was hell is not an option. Therefore, those of us whose expectations are for the new heaven and new earth to continue to become flesh, real in our lives and spaces, we must, as Paul says, be very confident to take personal accountability for our actions going forward, not outsourcing it to others. Our advancing actions must be an intentional investment in which we position ourselves by building our own tables, developing our own capital, and driving our own narratives so that through the process of creation, the becoming, which it shall be, of our new heaven and earth, we are refueling. Press and Breakthrough each and every obstacle, challenge, etc., that will confront you to Open Up The Way to your new heaven and earth, and you will be refueling in mid-air, all along the process of creation, actively participating in the creation of your new heaven and earth.
