Get up, go away!  For this is not your resting place, because it is defiled, it is ruined, beyond all remedy.  If a liar and deceiver comes and says, ‘I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer,’ that would be just the prophet for this people!  “I will surely gather all of you, Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel.  I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people.  The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out.  Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”

As we approach the end of another year, it is most appropriate for us to reflect on what has transpired and how it should impact our going forward.  Lessons learned are fuel to Open Up The Way to the more, the life and life more abundantly promised.  All year, the prophet Micah has been reminding us that wherever we are, this is not it, therefore, do not get comfortable in our present realities, whether good or bad, but keep pressing toward the mark of the higher calling.  We keep pressing, by choosing to reframe our mindset in which we see what is as a springboard to what shall become, refusing to accept our present as a resting place that maintains our status quo but instead fuels our advancement.  Reframing requires a mindset in which we believe that there is more, reassessing His promises for our lives along with His ability and ours to get it done.  As we reassess who God is and who we are in Him, you can Lift Up Your Head to realize that what God has promised you and me is already done and is waiting on us to reimagine our way to the more promised and made ready for us, seeing and seizing the opportunities and possibilities.
