SPRING FORTH NOW 2024

Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals.  Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda[a] and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades.  Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed.  From time to time an angel of the Lord would come down and stir up the waters. The first one into the pool after each such disturbance would be cured of whatever disease they had.  One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.  When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”  “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”  Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”  At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.  The day on which this took place was a Sabbath,

To Open Up Your Way demands action, however, the actions should be rooted in preparation from a position of being informed.  There is absolutely nothing like being equipped with information, both positive and negative information, that will assist you in considering your decisions and their outcomes, yielding benefits that will cause you to press toward your higher calling.  God is in charge of everything, no matter what it is, everything has been made by God and for God, and by Him, His Word, He has commanded us to exercise authority over such and be fruitful and multiply.  Get Up and go forward to break the gates, the challenges, of your life, be well-informed, and resist the status quo of your life by only seeing one option which keeps you tied to what is and looking for a result that may never come.  Respond appropriately to life’s challenges, armed with well-thought-out options as you are encamped in your Word, supported with your God-given abilities, and Get Up, and with God, you are well able to take up your bed and walk, to Open Up The Way!
