Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have.  They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,” declares the Lord.

Often we all suffer from the dis-ease of itching ears; seeking to hear what we want to hear instead of that which will constructively build toward the what should be for our life.  There are choices that we all must make that may not be appealing to our flesh or even to our mortality but are necessary for our advancing in our promises from God, therefore, we must Try The Spirit By The Spirit.  As a result of our willingness to Try The Spirit By The Spirit, we are less likely to fall prey to the wiles of the devil, darkness, negativity, or false prophets who will tell us what our flesh and that which provides a way of escaping required sacrifices.  Listen to and for God and He will show you your pathway of life and life more abundantly, equipping you to Open Up The Way even amid your itching ears.
