I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.  I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.  For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me.  I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.  I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me.  I am the Lord, and there is no other.

As we engage this New Year without question, feeling uncertain about what to expect and how we will be able to navigate what’s up ahead, we can be assured that if we respond to God’s calling, we will overcome and access the Hidden Treasures He has prepared.   The access to our Hidden Treasures is all along the pathway He has destined for us to travel, even when we do not or act like we do not know Him.  God has prepared the way for you and me and, along the way, provides incentive, impetus, Hidden Treasure to assure us He is God and He is with us.  Remember, we did not choose God, He chose us, including our path.  Therefore, be alert for your opportunities and possibilities, it is your food, fuel, your care package for overcoming to eat of your Hidden Manna, the very experiences that strengthen and deepen your faith and flow with God’s plan and Spirit.
