A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary. O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Jeremiah 17:12-13

We’ve been out here trying to find sanctuary in everything but the sanctuary Himself. Searching for security in money, image, relationships, and even religion that looks good but lacks power. That’s Looking In All The Wrong Places. The throne has always been there—glorious, eternal, unshaken—and yet we settle for thrones we build with sand. God is not only the fountain of living waters; He’s the Hidden Manna our souls are starving for, even when we don’t realize it. Those who turn from Him end up empty, chasing mirages and wondering why their soul is still thirsty. But for the ones who return to the throne, there’s rest, clarity, and provision that never runs dry.
