SPRING FORTH NOW

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 20:8-11

God was very explicit in creation to connect work with rest; working six (6 )days and resting the seventh (7th) day. I believe in doing so, working and resting, God established a powerful paradigm for us to live fully in all He has created and promised for our life and life more abundantly. I do not believe that God’s intention was for us to just measure work and rest by hours, days, or years but instead to seek a balance that allows for us to Reimagine Outcomes in our lived experiences in order for us to be equipped with endless energy and boundless strength; more than conquerors in all things. All along the way we must be conscious, rested in our work so as to reflect and navigate the obstacles and difficulties that will exist, to resist the devil, evil of life and yet Soar, by being sober and Reimagining Outcomes. God has promised us life and life more abundantly, not just in general, but also in our everyday walking around life, our lived experiences, and to achieve this lofty goal it demands that we take action, prepared and equipped as a result of resting in our work, reflecting and trusting God for appropriate direction to Soar. Life will throw you some left hooks and sometimes knock the wind out of you, however, the more you have the opportunity to rest, reflect and engage God, your promise, the better equipped you are to get up and go on - be centered and focused. The Lord will bless your time of rest, empowering you to Soar into the very life and life more abundantly promised, despite your obstacles; the ups and downs along your way. Today, balance your work with rest and make it as much a priority as accomplishing your goal and watch God send His Spirit to not only sustain you but also empower you beyond what is to what shall be as promised by God.
