SPRING FORTH NOW

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Luke 13:10-17

The challenge of balancing our work with rest demands an exercise of wisdom. Wisdom is a direct result of lived experiences coupled with knowledge, therefore, in order to meet the challenge of balancing our work with rest it demands our sensitivity to our lived experiences as well as our knowing what should be for our lives. We must be centered and focused in achieving that which should be for our lives, generating a sensitivity, flowing of the Spirit of God who has ordered our steps and thus, revealing appropriate times of work and rest in order to Soar in what should be for our lives. I would dare suggest as we are sensitive, flowing in the Spirit, we are more positioned to Reimagine Outcomes in our present circumstances in light of God’s promises and act accordingly to Soar in that which God has preordained. When we are working, we work and the same when we are resting, however, in order not to miss opportunities, steps God has ordained, it takes sensitivity to God’s Spirit to flow, making us flexible in our work or rest to achieve that which God intends. Do not let the rigidness of your thinking and your spaces confine and prevent you from flowing with God’s Spirit. Allow yourself to Reimagine Outcomes outside of the box; your work and rest time is not inflexible, move and flow with the Spirt of God for His fulfillment in and through your life. Jesus shows us that even on the Sabbath Day, which we are to rest and keep it holy, that we cannot be so confined by the law, the boxes of our lives, that we yet cannot operate to fulfill God’s purpose and plan for our lives. Let the Spirit of God lead and guide you, thus, making centered and focused God’s purpose and plan and be assured that the Spirit of God’s Truth will lead and guide you to Reimagining Outcomes in your circumstances that causes you to Soar!
