SPRING FORTH NOW
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! In this all-out match against sin, others have suffered far worse than you, to say nothing of what Jesus went through—all that bloodshed! So don’t feel sorry for yourselves.
Hebrews 12:1-4 (MSG)
Critical to breathing which impacts one’s operating at their maximum functioning capacity is the quality of the air one breathes. It is because of the concern for appropriate quality of air that environment controls are key to space development, especially in urban communities. The lack of the quality of air lessens the ability for people to function at their maximum potential. Please note that there is no perfect atmosphere or space free of toxics, however, the greater the quality of air breathed, the better chance for the body to function at its maximum potential. The same is true for living in the fullness of life and life more abundantly and thus, the writer of Hebrews suggests that the quality of what we are Inhaling is essential as we run this race called life. The writer of Hebrews suggest that if we are to Breathe: New Life, it will require a quality of atmosphere to ensure we are fully equipped and energized, functioning at our maximum potential, to breakdown all things for the good so as to live in our life and life more abundantly promised. Therefore, we should be filling our spaces as a result of discerning what and/or who brings about a quality of sustainability to our experiences, forcing us to act and build, not just for the now but for eternity. In addition, to discern whether or not the things we are Inhaling bring to bear a quality of vision, which focuses on getting us to our destination. And finally, a quality of motivation, incentives to keep us pressing forward through all of the obstacles of our life. Breathe: New Life by creating spaces in which you are provided with a quality of air to Inhale so that you operate at your maximum potential toward your promises.
